Situation
Shapoorji Pallonji (SP) was awarded a US$ 25 Million contract to construct the 2007 Cricket World Cup in Providence, East Bank, Demerara, Guyana. SP awarded the project to a Lead Logistics Provider.

The requirements of the project were:
• Material to be sourced from multiple countries
• Shipments included heavy Construction Machinery such as Excavators, Loaders, Cranes, Dumpers, along with other supply materials such as tiles, bathroom furnishings, electrical fittings, etc.
• Scope of Work also included Reverse Logistics of equipment to the origin
